Hello,
Please follow this instruction on how to update the plugin:
To update eventon to latest version: If you are unable to do autoupdate, you can go to codecanyon your account > download and get the latest eventon version as zip file. Then you can go to your website > make sure ”Delete eventon settings & data when EventON is uninstalled” is Deslected from eventon settings, delete old eventon, install new one and activate. This link will further explain the process it. Also you can follow us on twitter to get real-time announcements on updates!
I assume you will be transferring the license ”globally”, or is there anything that can be done at an individual basis to help?
Peter
I disabled the cache plugin, and it worked, but I’m still not receiving email notifications to approve events.
Kindly update to the latest version of EventON 5.0.7 — this will fix the activation issue.
Hello Bert, Currently this months list shows 12 months back from current month, its a fixed list.
If we were to make this so only months with events to show, that would slow down performance a lot, because then the page load would have to load all the events and get their month values, which is very heavy on processing.
Let us know if your clients will be ok with this or trade off for slowness for curated months list.
Kindly update to the latest RSVP version 3.1.1 should address the email notification issue.
Sorry about the delay Are you running the RSVP addon version 3.1.1 which we released February 17th targeted towards fixing the email issue. Please try the new version and see if this issue still happens for you.
Thank you Peter! Not much we can do about this. We already have EventON purchase set up via our website myeventon.com.
It is now only a matter of completing the license transfer from codecanyon to myeventon.com for us to move on from codecanyon.
Anyways thank you very much for sharing this!
