Love this eventON plugin… it’s really helping display the events.
1. We only have events on in November. I can see how I can remove the arrows in settings but how do I get the calendar to display November only? This would mean the ‘current month’ could be removed as well. How do i do that?
2. I’d also like the location and organiser displayed on the tile? You mentioned this can go in the subtitle.. is there any other way?
3. Can I change the colour of the text on the white events? So it’s visible? Ideally i’d love it different for each event but all the same is fine as well.
4. Is there a way to display the time and location as TBC?
5. What is the code to make the date number only larger?

so I have created this page- check out the shortcode for it

so yep every event can have a different color- the color is simply the event color when adding the event (on the right hand side of the edit event page)
I have set that calendar to show November 2020 only
so change white text when its on white background
Not really sorry- I’d either choose a different background, or font color- the font color you choose of course needs to go with other colors as well
it would require customization so it is possible but it would cost extra sorry
You can send us a customization job request by creating a new ticket in here and selecting Customization Request as the category.
Location: TBC yes- when creating the event- location name as TBC- and when you have a location edit the event and change the location
as for time, well that can be tricky there is a way its a bit sneaky
so here’s what I did:
In mYeventon>>>>langauge>>>>general calendar- I changed year long event to “TBC”
then in myeventon>>>>settings>>>>event top I activated- show location name and time
so when you have an event with location and or time to be confirmed
simply type TBC in the location name
and under time- check the “year long event” and what that will do is instead of saying year long event- it will say TBC
I’m a little confused about Music & Art by the Shore- it has a physical location and a zoom link?-
anyway moving onto the next question:
I’ll add some css to make the number larger
hmmmm css doesn’t seem to be holding- I’ll keep working on it to see whats going on

should make it bigger but I think your theme is overiding it- I’ll still diagnose
The salient theme is overiding the css I have added- I am not 100% familiar with that theme I am sorry- perhaps the creators of that theme can tell you (and then copy and paste it here) how to stop the overide

I set the event time to TBC and now it’s saying the event is now live? Any ideas how to change this… i love this work around.

I change the TBC time to the all day setting. I don’t have any all day events so this works well.
I just realised the time isn’t show on the tile… is there a way around that?
and how to show the price of event in popup? all the events are free but just want people to be able to see that easily… i can always make it a heading outside of the calendar if now. 🙂
in myeventon>>>>settings>>>>event top
there are options to say what you want to appear at the top- now not all of these will appear on the tile as its built for minimalist
but the time will appear- I have activated it for you and I also activated the Location Name so you don’t have to waste the sub title
I have created a Custom Meta Data for you and what the heck is that? you ask- Not sure why its called that but its an extra field when creating your events- called PRICE so now when you edit an event there is a field right at the bottom of the edit part with a new field called Price- Click the first event the opening and I added it so you can see (to remove it simply edit the event and delete the word price from the firled)
But you’ll probably want to position that better so in myeventon>>>>>settings>>>>>event card data drag and drop that price to where you want it to appear on the event
with the tile layout the organiser doesn’t appear on the event top- but because you are not using the subheading you could put in the sub heading “Organised by xyz”
and once we figure out how to overide the salient theme from preventing is from editing the eventon CSS we can style it up- perhaps make the font a hair smaller and italic

Unfortunately I’ve taken over this website from someone else so don’t have access to the theme support.
In Salient there is a place to put css, under salient>general>CSS/Script Related
But it’s still not working there… it seems to be having an issue with the code…
Also is it possible to remove the clock icon from the tile view?
How do i format this event organising details in the pop up box… The name of the organiser is really small compared to the ‘event organiser’ text…
I’d love the clock icon removed from the pop up box as well.
I’d be happy with the organiser information removed from the top of the pop up box as it’s down the bottom anyway.

how do i remove the calendar heading? If this is in shortcode is there a place where all the shortcode possible is in one place?
To get rid of the icon- all icons would vanish on the tile- its doable just want to make sure your ok with all icons going.
I removed the organiser from the top- this is done in MYeventon>>>>settings>>>>event top

Yes i was hoping to make my own heading for the calendar and remove ‘November 2020’.
I’d love to see what it looks like with no icons… the clock icon kind of touches the time on some numbers so it doesn’t look great.
