Dear EvenOn Team,
we created several extra fields for the event submission in the front end…
They also show up under ‘form fields’ … but NOT in the new event (backend, draft), after I got the info about a new submission and follow the link for editing / final publishing. But this is where we need these information – directly between all the other infos.
(not even having an idea, where to find these additional field data of a new submission instead)
Also, if I won’t get the ‘new submissions’ auto mail or won’t follow the link » where could I always find new submissions in the backend? (without scrolling through the events list) ?
Nov 24,2021 AT 3:43AM - 1 year ago -Hello,
Cannot find your previous login. Could you send it again as a private message?
how did you create those additional fields?
it was via the help article, that was posted in the documentation
Hey Andreas,
Can we see the code u used please?
Thank you for your messages, I am going to assign this ticket to Ashan and he will be able to take it from here and find you a solution. Please allow some time for him to get back to you, we greatly appreciate your patience and thank you for being a eventon customer! Also please disable any IP blocking on your site if there are any.
Hey guys,
this is a follow-up with a very similar minor issue (hope you could help with this info)
Action User – front end form fields:
For further customization purposes, could you pls let us know,
in which plugin + file the original PRICE field (code) is located?
AND… how do we make sure, that our work (customization) isn’t lost, when we update the event-ON plugin + addons?
Hey Andreas,
We are sorry for the late reply.
We have asked our Main Developer and CEO to review this and he will follow up.
Just give us some time please
still waiting for reply…
Hey Andreas,
We know, but we ave tried to pushed again as quick as we can to work on it
Appreciate your patient, looking at it now Andreas!
Just did a test and all the custom fields are appearaing just fine in your website.
Which price field are you refering to ? with tickets addon or with 3rd party paypal price field?
So to clarify: any new events submitted will be showing in backend along with other events because they are all same custom post type. You can set default event type categories for newly submitted events, and that way you can find new events easier.
Hey Ashan,
thanks for the follow-up also on this thing.
The first screenshot is not linked – couldn’t see anything on it.
The problem are not the extra fields in the front end of submission form (https://empowerment.community/veranstaltung-erstellen/) … but to have them in the backend for the draft event… to bring them online with all those fields as well.
Referring Price Field: We created another custom price field for (discount/less earning people)…
You’ll find it also in the mentioned submission form above… under ‘Preis ermäßigt’
And thanx for the hint with the default category – might be helpful in the future.
Andreas, please check the updated doc. at the very bottom I have added a new code to show how to show the value on event edit page.
