after updating to action user 1.1.1. adding a new post/event in frontend editing is no longer possible without setting lightbox=”yes”
I´m using this short code:

Actually we DO NOT want to use the lightbox but when setting the short code to lightbox=”no” it does not work!

that bold yes you had set to no but had additional code pointing to a destination for the redirect

It works if I use lightbox=”yes” though but actually we want to avoid that lightbox.

Please follow the instructions in this documentation to activate debug in your site to see any PHP errors recorded that can provide insight on to whats going on. Please reply with a link to debug.log file. If you are not able to do this please send us FTP access to your site so we can do this for you.
I enabled WP_DEBUG. The problem is that debug.log was not created. Could you contact your hosting provider and ask if there are restrictions on the creating of log files.
o.k. I changed the error reporting – it should work now.

Could you or can we please try the instructions mentioned in this documentation to make sure your issue is indeed coming from eventon.

To update eventon addons: You can download latest eventon addons from myeventon > my account. Then you can go to your website, deactivate old addon and install new one and activate then delete the old addon. This link will further explain the process. Also you can follow us on twitter to get real-time announcements on updates!
