After Update to EventOn Calander 4.01 the "Eventtop" Colors are same as ajax color at left border
Hi there,
after updating from 3.1.7 the events on events overview appears in full color as the event color that was selected – which only addressed the left border of the event header… the rest remained as selected in options panel.
Something is overriding it…
I have attached images from version 3.17 and after update to 4.01.
Please advise!

Thanks – that worked!!
Maybe add this ‘new’ feature in the panel as new option in a future update. So I can decide weather to go with it or stay with the current skin. Right now the current (old) skin is the best option for me.

We’ve just released WeeklyView 2.0. Could you try to update it?
To update eventon addons: You can download latest eventon addons from myeventon > my account. Then you can go to your website, deactivate old addon and install new one and activate then delete the old addon. This link will further explain the process. Also you can follow us on twitter to get real-time announcements on updates!

Checking in on resolution
The default color changes to the site that were pushed in the 4.0 update were unexpected and really messed up our site – it’s been a week and we’re still trying to clean it up. Don’t know if we can trust updates anymore without running them through a sand-box :/ Let us know how to get this fixed. Thank you.

I don’t think you are looking at the right part of the problem, since your event does not have a color. The shortcode works, but if the listing has a color, the post eventtop has that color – the change has been forced by 4.0. I described the issue in a separate ticket, but you guys closed that one and said you would reply here.
Using Weekly View v2.0 and using Ajax popup – there is no way to remove the eventtop color from the pop-up.
I would like to NOT have a color on the eventtop in the popup – like we had before 4.0. The solution recommended – setting eventtop_style=”0″ – does not work for the weekly view.

Hello Joe A,
Please go to EventON Settings > Single Events > Select EventTop Style: Clean White.
Now replace ux_val=”3a” with ux_val=”3″.
