the slug is set to /screenings so that events are under that permalink however I want to customize the archive page.
I have set the page template back to the normal template, however, the query is all messed up. How can I get Eventon to leave that page alone?

if it fails please provide a link to the page you want to edit and all other links you think we need to know
I want the URL slug to be called screenings, but I want this page: http://dev.ianedington.com/screenings/ to be a regular page instead of an archive page. Right now it shows up as an archive page and overwrites the page content with the list.
The /screenings page should look like this page: http://dev.ianedington.com/events/
ps new password: tempQBF
Please send us FTP access to your site as a private message, so we can perform several tests from our end and resolve your issue fast!
I think something in your theme is overidding this page template http://dev.ianedington.com/screenings/
i removed all eventon paging settings and its still showing an archive page. You havent added any crazy redirect codes for template into functions have you?
I think you might have forgotten to reload the permalinks. I just reloaded them and it returned to normal.
Unfortunately I don’t have FTP on this server since I use git for deployment. I have intentionally left file editing on though so you should be able to access all the files using wordpress:
http://dev.ianedington.com/wp-admin/theme-editor.php
http://dev.ianedington.com/wp-admin/plugin-editor.php
between the two tickets though this one is more pressing: Ticket #28390
Thank you,
Ian
