I see I can add RSVP’s manually one user per event.
My client has a bunch of recurring meetings and wants all subscribers RSVP’ed to YES by default for all those events. I don’t see myself adding them one by one…
Is there a way to bulk RSVP events for subscribers?

So, your client has repeating event and you want anyone who subscribes to an event to be registered all instance of the repeating event?
No not exactly, let’s forget about “recurring”. I think it causes confusion.
The requirement is that my client wants me (website developer) to have all subscribers RSVP’d to YES to a bunch of events (meetings) before the site goes live.
This is to save my client’s subscribers the hassle of having to let them subscribe to all of them when the site goes live. The subscribers are “expected” to be there for all the events of the year.
The manual add RSVP functionality is in fact what I need basically but it would be very handy if an admin in the backend could add an RSVP for MULTIPLE WP users (by selecting them) for an event with this screen instead of entering email, first and last name manually one by one.
This would be a really cool feature.
I hope I explained it well. If you want more information from me just let me know.
Thank you for this great suggestion, at the moment it is not supported and we are going to move this ticket into feature request so other users can vote for your excellent feature idea and get this move into development!
I have alerted Ashan to this- Looking over the Add new rsvp section I wonder how that info is stored and would it be possible to somehow upload a file with 20-100 names for example
if an RSVP is a post type for example then it may be possible to upload many at 1 time. Ashan will be able to clarify how the rsvp’s are stored
Great news, looking forward to hear feedback on this.
FYI: In my case the subscribers are all WP users, hence why my suggestion for some cool drag and drop functionality or by role. You get my point 🙂
Well you know we have to also remember that people getting subscribed to events by admin as oppose to them RSVPing by themselves could cause some issues. You may not have their full consent for this. So that is why we recommend each user RSVPing themselves as oppose to an admin doing it for all the users. In a big corporation this could potentially lead to lawsuits over consent decree.
So we will pass this as feature request. But we would need to further look into the possibility of how this effect the broader audience. As this requirement may be ok for you but might not be for everyone. With that being said, you are more than welcome to submit a customization request for us to build this into RSVP addon just for your case.
For customization job, please fill up the customization request form and send us a request.
Yes I understand what you mean but technically it’s already possible if you do it one by one by entering manual credentials no matter if those are WP users or not. You opened the window, just not fully automatic hehe.
For my site the setup of people is somewhat different. It’s a charity organization with about 50 members and everyone’s supposed to come to the meetings and in the old days they only had to call someone if they couldn’t come.
Today they want themselves to be able to de-subscribe from the meeting (and potentially re-subscribe). The plugin is excellent for this.
Now if only an admin could for the meetings of the coming year pre-subscribe WP users by means of drag-and-drop or something it would be bingo.
I will fill out the form to at least have a price indication. This will need to be discussed with my client then.
Thanks for submitting the customization request our guys will get back with you on that.
