Performance issue on EventON event listings
I’m reaching out because my site performance drops heavily specifically on pages that render EventON event listings/grids (especially on mobile). I’ve already tested the usual optimizations, but the bottleneck seems tied to the EventON output (queries/assets/AJAX listing).
## What I’ve already tried
- Page caching + browser caching, compression
- Minify / defer / delay JS (with exclusions to avoid breaking layout)
- Image optimization + lazy load (ensuring the LCP element isn’t delayed)
- Plugin conflict tests (disabling non-critical plugins)
- CSS review: large grid/blog-related CSS seems to load and may be impacting render
- Requested more resources to my server SiteGround
## What I’m seeing
- Pages without EventON listings perform much better.
- Pages with EventON listings show poor LCP, weaker interaction (INP/lag on pagination/filtering), occasional CLS, and sometimes higher TTFB.
- Lighthouse/PageSpeed “UX score” can drop extremely low on mobile (e.g., ~4 in some tests) when the listing is present.
## What I need from you
Could you point me to the best way to optimize EventON listings, specifically:
How to reduce/optimize listing database queries (limits, meta queries, ordering, filters) and improve the calendars so it doesnt stay 30 sec until loading...
Than k you!
