Can I make event tags clickable

I’d like to make the tags associated with events clickable so users can find all events sharing the same tag

      Hello,

Please take a look at this guide:

      https://docs.myeventon.com/documentations/hook-eventtop/

You can add a new field that is clickable.

Hi – I’m not sure this answers my question.

In the attached example I’ve set a tag for this show with the name of one of the bands ‘Bad Pedestrian’

I’d like to be able to click this link to find any other shows they are playing at – also the same goes for the category of ‘kive music’.

I have also tried using the shortcode for Event Lists and setting a filter on tags, but this function never returns any results.

Is there a url format I can use to call tagged content?

      Thanks

Unfortunately, you cannot click on EventTop’s Event Type and Event Tags. But what you can do is to, by following the guide above and add the links you like. More info on how to get assigned event types:

      https://docs.myeventon.com/documentations/taxonomies-eventon/

Maybe it’s easier for you to add links manually by following

      https://docs.myeventon.com/documentations/setup-use-custom-meta-fields-events/

Enable custom meta fields first, then you can add them to Event Top:

      https://docs.myeventon.com/documentations/how-to-use-the-eventtop-designer/

Can you add that functionality to the development wishlist?

Do you know why the tag filter shortcode doesn’t work?

And is there a URL structure to call tagged events? On another site I have for instance my blogs can be called with this: https://festivalflyer.com/tag/bluedot/

I have too many events to add manual links, and I want users to be able to quickly find shows by musical genre or artist/band name tags.

      1. Please create a new ticket and select Feature Request as category so others can vote on your idea and get it moved into development faster.

      2. Please make sure to add Tag ID:

      3. Please use Event Type for this:

      https://dev2.myeventon.com/?event_type=2-alakai-hotel-suites

      4. EventON uses Event Type for this:

      https://docs.myeventon.com/documentations/confused-event-type-categories/

      https://docs.myeventon.com/documentations/how-to-use-event-types-to-do-more/

You can also use Event Lists & Items add-on:

      https://www.myeventon.com/addons/event-lists-items/

      Looks like this

      https://dev2.myeventon.com/?page_id=51393

      Try on https://dev.myeventon.com/wp-admin/

Thanks – I hadn’t realised I needed the Tag ID … that now works… although the ID isn’t easy to find (I had to use Sheet Editor) … although I may have missed something obvious.

Using the second Event Type will help too.

      Thanks again.
