Hi,
We are using EventON on a multilingual website that is using MultilingualPress. So we have 2 websites, one per language. With MultilingualPress we can link posts & pages to their corresponding posts or pages on the other website to link the translation. But we can’t see this option in EventON.
Is it possible to activate it?
Tx
Sorry about that, I figured the settings in MultilingualPress to activate the translation.
Hello,
We are glad your issue is resolved, if you have any further questions or concerns please create a new ticket.
Hi,
Could you please explain how different languages are managed in eventON with MultilingualPress? If I understand correct, the internal translation system in eventON (L1, L2, L3…) is not used.
How do you activate the translation in MultilingualPress? Do the events sync in the subsites with the main website and any change to the main website is inherited by the subsites? (for example change of time or event location)
Tx
There is no direct compatibility between MultilingualPress and EventON. However, if you can create a separate page for each translation then you can use https://docs.myeventon.com/documentations/setup-language-corresponding-events/ and put the translated shortcode on each page.
Please also note that EventON is compatible with WPML https://docs.myeventon.com/documentations/wpml-eventon-front-end/.
Ok thanks, will give a try.
Alexander Herkommer,
Great! Please keep us updated.
