i have action user.
i have created some events as an administrator. i now want to assign those events to another user so that they can control from the front end.
however, i am not able to change the author and so when the user (subscriber) logs in they cannot see the event in their dashboard to then edit.
i have tried using the ‘manage users assigned to this event’ option and this does not help.

I created a test user called dave
created a dummy event and assigned it to dave
But I can’t even log in as dave to test
Please provide the place to log in as a user and please sent me the username and password for the dave user because it is not letting me log in

Thanks Dave, ok so at the current version of ActionUser the assigned users will only allow you to create calendars with events assigned to those user not compatible for event manager we are going to be adding this feature in the next actionUser update 🙂
Is there any update on this? I am having the same problem. I have created an event as an administrator, and I’ve assigned the event to another user. I even set that user as the author as well. But when I log in as that user, the event does not appear in their Event Manager.
You said this would be in the next ActionUser update, but I see that there was an update on April 24, and it doesn’t appear that this was fixed. Do you know when this will be added?
Hey there sorry we had to release the last update to actionUser sooner than expected to resolve several issues we will try out best to get this feature added in the next version.
