Date and pricing not changeable after duplicating event

Hey Jay,

We would like it to be possible to duplicate events, change the date, change the price, but the variables seem connected to the original event. So when we change the price in the original or the copy, it changes in the other too. When we change the date, it does not change in front end.

Do we do something wrong, is it a bug, or just not possible to duplicate? That would really safe us a huge amount of work, when it works!

      Ahhh…. that’s so anying! Our server seems to be very unstable. It sometimes takes refreshing the page two or three times. Could you try again?

      Could you go to Edit Event > Tickets > ASSIGN DIFFERENT WC PRODUCT AS TICKET PRODUCT > make sure that it’s assigned to a different product:

      Also check if Edit Event > Tickets > Ticket SKU (Required*) is correct.

      Oh, that’s interesting…. I thought Eventon Tickets was making a WC product when filling in a SKU… So we should always make a separate product in WC?

      Does that also open up the possibility to adjust the date in Eventon after copying? And that it displays the right date on the single page event info?

      When duplicating, EventON creates a new product for a duplicated event with enabled Tickets.

      Not sure what does this mean. Could you elaborate?

      Duplicated event is the same as newly created event. You can edit it the way you like.
