Date format in backoffice at “Add Event” stays US instead of Dutch dd-mm-yyyy
Feb 2,2017 AT 11:42PM - 5 years ago -Can you please send us a direct link to where the actual issue is happening?
I have changed a setting please check again and if it has not worked please post a direct link to your calendar or single event as we don’t speak your website language
Settings are not changed. It is when you choose Events > Add event
hmmmm that is a little weird- is it ok on the front end? (while you wait for a reply – it is important to us to know your customers are not experiencing problems)
I am going to assign this ticket to Ashan and he will be able to take it from here and find you a solution. Please allow some time for him to get back to you, we greatly appreciate your patience and thank you for being a eventon customer!
The enduser view is almost ok but the backoffice still wrong showing Y m d instead of the Dutch d-m-yyyy format…
So what happen here was the date picker was not working correct when we allowed custom date formats. And we had so many people pissed cus the date they selected get saved incorrect on other date formats. So we made the date picker be a fixed date format to avoid those issues.
So you will have this minor inconvenience on backend as it wont be your country’s date format but on frontend it will show correct date format.
But yea we will see if we can find a better solutoin that will work for everyone.
