Some events has scientific materials and the event organisers will be willing to share it with visitors.
Is there a provision to upload such documents and visitors can download for updating their knowledge?
The one what I am working on is for Continuing Medical Education, where short term events are organized for sharing knowledge.

Are you using RSVP or tickets to allow people to register? or just eventon by itself (there is a reason why I ask- and I’ll let you know depending on your answer)
You can create myeventon>>>.settings>>>>custom meta data
and these will allow you to create a Button for example that can link to a PDF (you would upload the pdf to your media section and copy the url into the button link
and you can create more than 1 button
but you can add links in your main description as well
Link to 1
link to 2
Thanks for responding.
I am just using the eventon. Eventually, in the next 6 months, I will be buying most of the adds on to make the site complete in terms of listing all the CMEs.
Let me know if there are any better way of having the documents downloadable for the visitors.
I am a doctor by profession, I am more inclined to Health IT. This has made me take this on my own. I may need your assistance in making this a good site.
RSVP allows you (obviously to allow people to rsvp to an event) but you can also hide data until they rsvp
The main thing with downloads is you want to keep it simple and uniform so when the customer see’s an event it is obvious where the downloads are if there are any and it is simple for you to add them
The easiest way is to type in the event description
Downloads for this event
and then click Add media- add your PDF’s (like you would any other image) and a link will appear to that PDF
you don’t really need to over complicate things- sometimes less is more.
