EO Ticket 1.5 Add to Cart not working

Hi Guys,

added V1.5 of the Ticket Extension to a client Website running EventOn 2.5.2 in order to get rid of the “expansion” of the product name when copying events (Ticket: SKU -xxx).

Unfortunately the Ticket 1.5 Version doesn’t work, the add to cart button doesn’t add anything to cart. Pushed 1.4 back to the site and all is working well again.

So sorry, don’t have any Live Site available for you to test, client needs to sell;-)

Can you reproduce the issue?

      thanks for getting back so quickly. Yes it is working on your test site.

      Are you also on Woocommerce 2.6.14?

      Will try to deactivate other Woocommerce Extensions (Woo Germanized and Woo Packing Slips) and see if that helps.

      Since all is working well with EO Ticket 1.4 has something changed in the way on how the order is triggered?

      Sorry to be asking an extremely vague question here and I am absolutely aware you can’t possibly know all potential Woo Extensions, but possibly you have an idea where else I could look?

      Hey Guys,

      a quick follow up:

      I now deactivated almost any plug in, all woocommerce extensions, caching etc. to no avail.

      Add to Cart just doesn’t add anything with Tickets V1.5, as soon as I go back to 1.4 all is immediately working like it should.

      If you need more info about the configuration / installed and mandatory components please let me know, but definitely something isn’t working like it did before. I would very much appreciate if you could check on your end what has changed to the way you add to the woocommerce cart. Thanks for your support.

      I just enabled 1.5 and then checked the process and everything seems to be working fine.

      Hi Ashish,

      thanks for taking the time to test this.

      It does indeed work for your newly created event.

      All exisiting events, however, are not working.

      ie. here: https://openaerial.dance/poledance/

      I can’t possibly ask my client to recreate all exisiting events, or am I missing anything?

      As long as I keep 1.5 active the shop cannot sell, so please advise.

      Could it be variable Products behave differently? Your example is not a variable product but all their tickets are.

      So I activated 1.4 again, please feel free to switch to 1.5 in case you want to do further testing.

      I need to make sure this shop is up and running and able to sell;-)

      sorry to be so intense:

      Is there a way I can do some logging to see why exisiting products are not added to the cart?

      Possibly something that can also give you a clue?

      there is now a new tickets 1.5.1 which fixes some issues- hopefully it will fix your issues


      You can download latest eventon addons from myeventon > my account. Then you can go to your website, deactivate old addon and install new one and activate and delete old addon. In order to update addon to latest version. This link further explains it.

      sorry for the late answer. I was checking back and forth and now with EO 2.5.3 and ETIX 1.5.5. I got it working well since 7days on teh clients live site.
