Error changing "from name" in ticket email


I change the “from name” in the mail configuration in tickets addon but nothing changes in the mails sent.

      I didn’t get any email sent to me so it is hard to test and diagnose you may want to look into an smtp server to get emails actually sending- there are plenty of free wordpress email smpts to use



      once emails are being sent reliably- then we can test and diagnose

      All emails are sent with the sendgrid SMTP https://sendgrid.com/ , I think it’s a reliable service.

      Please tell me an email adress so I can send you a ticket email (just using the re-send woocommerce option)

      sendgrid is very good but when I use my email address (and I have used 2 different ones) on checkout- I get no email sent to me which makes it very hard to diagnose

      please update to the latest ticket addon version 1.4.1 where we have some improvements to emailing. If it still doesnt work please send me FTP as well./

      Ok, so does your email go through at all or are they showing incorrect from name? can you forward ticket confirmation email to info [at] myeventon.com please?

      I just tested re-sending the confirmation email from https://offlatina.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=1599&action=edit

      and it worked just fine and shows correct from emails as set in your event ticekts settings?

      So what are we missing here? Why was this ticket created if I am not able to replicate the issue on your site? or have you resolved the issue since the ticket was created?

      The ticket was: “I change the “from name” in the mail configuration in tickets addon but nothing changes in the mails sent.”.

      In the mail configuration (Eventon, settings, tickets, email) the text is OFF Latina but it keeds sending with OFF Latin (without the final A)
