Event image not displayed in WooCommerce cart using EventOn Ticket addon

I would expect that the EventOn event image would be passed on to the regarding WooCommerce product when creating a new event with tickets. Currently this seems to be not the case. The EventOn event image is not passed on to WooCommerce and the regarding product in the WooCommerce cart does not show the right (or any) image of the EventOn event.

  In the WooCommerce shopping cart you only see a placeholder image but not the regarding EventOn event image.
