Hi,
event map does not show all events.
Example is January:
calendar has 40+ events with locations, maps shows not even 20. Why?
Thanks for your support.
Dec 26,2020 AT 3:39AM - 2 years ago -Hello Yannick,
Have you added any limit to the shortcode?
Can you share backend access so we can take a look please?
The info to login is already part of the ticket! I had to type it in during the creation process.
Hello,
Please check EventON Settings > Hide past events for default calendar(s). As you can see this option is enabled so you won’t be able to see past events.
Your current map only shows events for December so with enabled “Hide past events for default calendar(s)” it shows the right amount of available events.
Could you try disabling “Hide past events for default calendar(s)” and then use this shortcode:
[add_eventon_evmap map_type=”upcoming”]
I know, but thats not the problem!
Please check month january! Thats a month in the future, correct? Map only shows around 20 events, the calendar has 40+ with locations, why? Thanks
Hi Yannick,
To show all events on the map, you’ll need to change the shortcode to the following:
[add_eventon_evmap map_type=”upcoming” show_alle=”yes” show_et_ft_img=”yes” loc_page=”no” lightbox=”yes” ux_val=”3″]
Please test this out and let us know how it goes.
No changes at all! I dont want to see all upcoming events! I just want to see the monthly events.
Just because I see all of the upcoming events, it does not correct the fact, that a lot of the events are not shown on the map!
January ’21 on the map = 16 events / in the calendar 40+ events with applied location info.
It seems that the list shows the correct amount of events:
However, if you check your locations it seems that some of them lacking lat/long so they cannot be visible on map. For example,
Could you make sure that every event has a location assigned with filled in lat/long values?
Thats scuffed. I mean almost every location is connected with a drop zone. That drop zones has Lat / Long. So the info is there. The dropzone is even linked to the event on the event card, but that is not enough? Thats a shame!
Are you serious? I should implement almost 1000 locations? The info is there! I wont do that. There must be another way!
Each location must have either Location Address or Lat/Long values for Event Map to show assigned to this location events. For example, these two doesn’t have either of those:

So please make sure that your locations have Location Address or Lat/Long values.
