Ticket #261878 Public

Event subtitle cannot contain umlauts

When creating an event, it is unfortunately not possible to use special characters such as umlauts in the event subtitle input, as these seem to be lost during saving.

      Postscript:

It was just noticed that the error is not during saving, because the correct data is saved during the first save. However, if I edit the event later, the umlauts are replaced. If one does not pay attention to it when saving, this error is then transferred to the published version. Seems to be therefore rather an error of the input field.

      Hello,

No issue on our test site: https://dev2.myeventon.com/events/german-umlauts-a-o-u/

Can we try to re-create this on your website?

      Hi,
Is there a solution to this problem yet?
It happens to me in the same way. Editing or copying events causes the display error for umlauts.
In my case it is not in the title but in the subtitle.
