We would like to be able to send the ticket holder information through via the standard Woocommerce New Order Received mails (to the site admin & client), or alternatively send a copy of the ticket confirmation e-mail through to the site admin when a purchase has been completed.
How can we do this?Feb 23,2017 AT 2:51AM - 3 years ago -
It should have worked like that by default.
Please check the settings in myeventon->tickets
Please send us wp-admin access to your site as a private message for us to further assist your situation.
You are using old version of both the main plugin and the ticket addon.
So, please them both and all other addons and check again.
The screenshot you show is at the checkout where a customer will enter additional guest names that has nothing to do with admin getting emails.
>>Woocommerce New Order Received – emails are sent by WC so you would need to look for a 3rd party addon that can send that email to additional email addresses.
>> ticket confirmation e-mail– unfortunately at the moment only the customer will get this email and I will add this as a feature request for this. to be able to set custom emails to also get this confirmation email.
You do not seem to understand me at all…… 🙁
I showed you the screenshot so that you would understand what information we want to include in the WOOCOMMERCE E-Mail template. Since this information is being asked via your plugin and not Woocommerce (this is why it does not show in the WOOCOMMERCE E-Mail template), if you can tell us what code we need to add to the WOOCOMMERCE E-Mail template, so that the information in our screenshot can be included in the E-Mail template being sent via WOOCOMMERCE.
I really hope that you are able to understand what it is that I am asking for, as no other plugin is going to magically use information asked for via your plugin and include it into the Woocommerce E-Mails….
Georg, i am really sorry my friend your message was confusing with the screenshots of those additional fields so thats why it was hard for me to understand.
ANyways. so the additional guest names are stored in each WC order post as post meta. You can access that data using a PHP code like
$order_ticket_holders = get_post_meta($order_id, ‘_tixholders’, true);
This should output an array or ticket holder names. Hope this helps 🙂
