Event Ticket Add to Cart disappears after a few seconds so user cannot view cart of checkout

This trouble began after updating the Event Ticket Addon(1.3.1), was working correctly before the update.

When a user opens an event from the calendar, in the event popup you have the ability to purchase event tickets. When you click the add to cart button, a pop appears with two options, view cart or checkout. this popup disappears after only a few seconds.

i tracked down the issue to { display: none; } being used. the first display none makes this div ‘evotx_hidable_section’ hidden and then this div ‘tx_wc_notic evotx_addtocart_msg’ becomes visible.

somehow, somewhere, some kind timeout is occurring as the ‘tx_wc_notic evotx_addtocart_msg’ is being placed back in the hidden display: none state. you can actually watch the switch happen in real time via Firebug.

again, this only began after updating the event ticket addon, everything was working before as intended.

      Hello,

I tried now and “ADDED TO CART! VIEW CART|CHECKOUT” window stays there indefinitely.

Could you please also try EventON > Tickets > Upon add to cart redirect customer to Do not redirect, allow adding more tickets to cart?

did you make any modifications while testing? this is imperative to know since i have to make the same plugin updates to the live site and want to make sure this doesn’t happen on the live site for obvious reasons.

i need to make sure as this wasnt a one off fluke as it was replicated across different browsers and different machines(on site testers) during testing.

After every add-on update you need to save EventON’s settings. We did know about this issue and fixed it the update so you do not need to worry about live server.

We are glad your issue is resolved, if you have any further questions or concerns please create a new ticket.

If you have a moment, we would greatly appreciate if you could kindly leave us a review at codecanyon! from your account > downloads. Cheers!
