I’ve just updated to 4.1 and it’s changed the way event titles are displayed in the WooCommerce basket.
Before it would only show the event title – it now shows the event title and the first date of a repeating event.
Ticket: (COMMSMK) Communication Skills Training Course in Milton Keynes – 2016/11/28-2016/11/28 × 1
How do I remove that date so only the event title is showing.
P.S. The date shown isn’t the date selected, this is the first of the repeating events. – it does this for any event that is repeating.Feb 26,2017 AT 10:47AM - 5 years ago -
Just an update to this. This event is a one I’ve just modified and saved again. It’s writing this title to WooCommerce as the product name.
All of the others are fine as I haven’t done anything with them since updating.
I guess its the same I reported in my ticket #28658 I opened last week. Looks like a bug to me. hope this gets adressed soon…
It helps in woocommerce reports at tax time it is easier to see when tickets were sold
I am going to assign this ticket to Ashan and he will be able to take it from here and find you a solution. Please allow some time for him to get back to you, we greatly appreciate your patience and thank you for being a eventon customer!
I’m not sure if it’s linked but I’m now seeing that when someone picks one of the dates for a reoccurring event, the incorrect date is being pulled into the cart too.
This is a duplicate case someone else also talked about this. We do indeed update WC product name based on event name and that was done because while back some customers wanted that. So we are going to add an option to disable this in next ticket version update.
