EventOn RSVP - duplicated email bug

  • Hello. I have noticed that it’s possible for an unregistered user to register for the same event twice with the same email. So potentially a user, instead of entering his/her email to update his RSVP status, could RSVP again for the same event with the same email. The problem that arises is that when the user wants to update RSVP status by entering email only the first RSVP event info for update come up meaning the user could only update the first instance. I think there should be a check preventing an unregistered user to RSVP for the same event if the email for that even already exists and prompt him to change his RSVP status instead!

      Hi,

      Same email address cannot be added twice. so, the same email address cannot be used to rsvp twice.

      so, this issue should not occur.

      Can you record video of how this works on your end?

      Belatedly on this topic, is it possible to prevent the same email address from registering to any repeating occurrence of an event, for example, if joe@url.com rsvp’d to the Monday slot of a daily repeating event, they could not also rsvp to the Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, or any slot thereafter for that repeating event? ┬áThank you for any insights.

      Thank you for your great suggestion, at the moment it is not supported. However please create a new ticket and select Feature Request as category so others can vote on your idea and get it moved into development faster. OR You can send us a customization job request by creating a new ticket in here and selecting Customization Request as the category.
