Is there any way to change the automatic post slug from “events” to something else (like “events calendar”)? I already have an “events” subdomain on my website with a lot of child pages beneath it and changing that is going to lead to a TON of redirects which isn’t great for site speed, SEO, etc… I’ve searched all the FAQs and past tickets but can’t seem to find anything related to this, which is surprising since I imagine a lot of websites already have an events page prior to installing this plugin. Please advise.

Please go to EventON > Events Paging > EventOn Event Post Slug > Save. After please go to wp-admin > Settings > Permalinks > press Save.
