Events Registration with payment option

Hi,

Great Plugin thus far. Is there a way to have a registration system in an event with custom fields and a payment system? I’m looking to have some of my events be classes where people can sign up and register. I see you have a lot of add ons but not sure if an of these would work…

      Hey Darren,

Have you checked our plugin, that does that?

      https://www.myeventon.com/addons/event-tickets/

Please take a look if it does work.

Thanks for the quick reply. Is there a way I can demo this? This has a way to register? What about custom fields?

I do see there is a demo on the page but after adding the ticket there is no way to see the next step. I need to see the checkout process if possible… Am i able to add a custom field to the checkout process?

      Hi Darren,

      Thanks for the follow-up.

This addon is integrated with the WooCommerce plugin and thus once a ticket is created, a similar WooCommerce product is generated.

The checkout process is also handled by the WooCommerce plugin. Clicking the checkout button should redirect you to the WooCommerce checkout page.

In case it helps, please take a look at these tutorials for more details about customizing checkout fields: Link, Link

      I hope this helps.

Hi Kenneth, This kinda helps. I need to show my client how things functions seeing he is the one making the decisions. Is there a way I can try the addon before buying? or is some kinda of money back if this doesn’t work out? I cant justify spending $90 on something that will not work for what we are trying to achieve.

      Hello,

Please go to http://dev.myeventon.com/wp-admin/ and login with tester/pass

Follow this guide https://docs.myeventon.com/documentations/set-event-tickets/ and create a new event with enabled Tickets.

      Hi Darren,

Sorry about that. Our demo site needs a few updates, it looks like some permalinks were modified, you can view the checkout page here: https://dev.myeventon.com/fred-2/

Attached below is a screenshot of how the checkout page looks after adding the ticket to cart.

We will be updating the demo site in a short while.

      Thanks.

      Hi,

Unfortunately the demo event on the calendar is not longer working. I went to show my client this morning but the demo event but I’m unable to add tickets…

Is there a way you can fix the permilinks so we can see the whole add on workin? Seeing the plugin in $90 a year I feel that is reasonable.

We are also wondering how the payment gateway works. We do not want cash on hand only paypal/ Credit cards.

Given the price tag are you able to assist in add custom fields? What about renaming fields in the checkout?

We like your plugin but right now do not feel comfortable given the bugs in the demos.

I have tickets on my own website – so below is a video of what takes place

and so with that auto complete order plugin – working with paypal or stripe payments or any instant payment system- you wont have to do anything when the orders come in

I had to stuff around as I was doing a direct transfer

Thanks for this Dave!  This is exactly what i needed.

      Just a couple more questions:

Given the price tag are you able to assist in add custom fields?

What about renaming fields in the checkout? for example I dont want to call thing Tickets – I want to call theme classes…

what kind of custom fields are you after?

as for renaming fields on checkout-see long and boring video below as I go through the language options:

its possib;e I read it wrong I have been up all night
this might help I don’t know https://www.myeventon.com/addons/ticket-variations-options/ (you would need tickets to havw this addon work)

      Hi @infotainerdave

I went ahead and purchased the add on plugin but it does not seem to be working. I followed the directions as you can see in the video I provided… No ticket options seem to generate in the event. I did setup the paypal payment processing as well…

      Hello,

Could you go to EventON Settings > EventCard Data > make sure that EVENT TICKET BOX is selected? Now save your settings. If EVENT TICKET BOX was selected please still save EventON Settings.

Thank you, that worked. The next issue I’m having is that I can’t checkout once I put in my info. See the video for the issue.

I believe its because you are http where paypal needs the site to be https as in secure so its not showing the button because the website is http

      https://docs.easydigitaldownloads.com/article/1244-do-i-need-ssl-if-i-use-paypal

so you’ll need https for it to work i suspect

      Hey @infotainerdave,

I managed to get the paypal checkout working after doing some tinkering but ran into an issue after checkout. I installed the recommend autocomplete plugin but it says that “Ticket(s) Order is Not Completed Yet!”
