Hello,
Please follow this guide: https://docs.myeventon.com/documentations/why-my-site-and-eventon-page-loading-slow/.
Could you also tell us more about your server: CPU, RAM, SSD/HDD?
We are hosting with Flywheel.
Have you tried following https://docs.myeventon.com/documentations/why-my-site-and-eventon-page-loading-slow/?
I have followed that tutorial and there are no changes.
that website is sooooooo slow in the backend- editing a page takes a good minute to save where it should be 2 seconds
i’d be interested to know what hosting plan you have on flywheel as i can’t even get the list of events loaded nin the backend to see how large your featured images are if you are using them
i get a
when trying to view events on the backend or any other back end page
I have a custom agency plan with Flywheel.
For 90% of the events, they aren’t using a featured image. If they are using a featured image it is 750k or less.
I’m having no issue editing from the backend.

Hey Evan,
Can you please ask them to increase PHP memory limit?
Yes, I have sent a request for my web host to increase PHP memory limit.
We increased the site’s PHP workers from 3 to 7 to help with the site’s performance.
The memory limit is currently set to 256MB.
We are not seeing any errors on the browser or in the PHP error logs.
I was able to see that the slow error logs are consistently logging slow errors like the one below.
My web host recommended sending you the slow error logs to help you to see why this error is being thrown.
It loads significantly faster (1.26s). Please take a look at this screenshot:
Could you send us a similar screenshot with your time?
Hey Evan,
Can you also increase memory limit to 712?
I am asking the web host. I will let you know asap.
Hi Evan,
We will be waiting to hear from you.
Host can’t increase the site’s memory that high without an error or failure on site requiring more memory.
They have increased mysite’s memory to 384MB for the time being. This should be more than enough to allow for any plugins on your site to function optimally!
see video below its loading fast
