When I try to export a single event to an external calendar (ics file or GoogleCal) most things work like a charm, except that the time for the event is off by 5 hours. Example: if an event has start time set to 09:00 and end time set to 2:00pm those times changes to 2:00pm-7:00pm in the external calendarApr 5,2017 AT 12:22AM - 3 years ago -
Please make sure you are using latest version of the main plugin and the addons.
Let us know if you experience the same even after update.
Hi and thanks for the reply:
I use the EventOn v.2.5.2
I also use the following plugin:
– Full Cal v.1.1.3
And I guess those are the latest versions. If one event will occur between 08:00 am – 2:00 pm the following information in written in the ics file when exporting:
BEGIN:VCALENDAR VERSION:2.0 PRODID:-//eventon.com NONSGML v1.0//EN BEGIN:VEVENT UID:58e4efbb40457 DTSTAMP:20170405T152307 DTSTART:20170527T110000Z DTEND:20170527T170000Z LOCATION:xxxxxx SUMMARY:xxxxxx DESCRIPTION: xxxxxx END:VCALENDAR
I guess that DTSTART and DTEND is what cause the problem.
Thank you for your messages, I am going to assign this ticket to Ashan and he will be able to take it from here and find you a solution. Please allow some time for him to get back to you, we greatly appreciate your patience and thank you for being a eventon customer!
that time is generated based off timezone settings set on your site. So pelase go to
and add offset time in minutes and see if that helps
That solved my problem! Thanks a lot.
If you have a moment, we would greatly appreciate if you could kindly leave us a review at codecanyon! from your account > downloads. Cheers!
