Ticket #23803 Public

Extended List Not showing current month

  • I have a Full Calendar and an Extended List on my page and the list is not showing any events for the current month.  I have tried several combinations and I cannot get it to work.  I put the same shortcode (for just the extended list) on another test page and it is working correctly.  This leads me to believe it is a conflict with the other shortcode or something.  Can you please help me sort this out.  This didn’t happen until I updated my EventOn plugin today.

The two shortcodes I am using are:

    [add_eventon_fc cal_id=”4″ show_et_ft_img=”yes” nexttogrid=”no” grid_ux=”2″ jumper=”yes” mo1st=”yes” heat=”yes” hover=”numname” ]

    [add_eventon_el cal_id=”5″ pec=”cd” number_of_months=”15″ event_count=”20″ sep_month=”yes” hide_mult_occur=”yes” show_et_ft_img=”yes” ]

OK that is weird because if I add those exact same shortcodes into a normal page editor

it shows only january events but no others

I am going to assign this ticket to Ashan the plugin creator and he will be able to take it from here and find you a solution. Please allow some time for him to get back to you, we greatly appreciate your patient and thank you for being a eventon customer!

I will say there is now a brand new update for the eventon core- which will work better with the latest version of wordpress so try updating while you wait for Ashan

This seems to be workign fine for me

      using shortcode

      [add_eventon_el number_of_months=”3″ sep_month=”yes” ]

Always when you create shortcodes use shortcode generator instead of typing it out.

      Thank you for your reply.

The problem I am having is when I have two different shortcodes on the same page.  It does not show the current month on my extended list.   Here is the URL –  http://hopepoint.org/upcoming-events/

Here are my two shortcodes that I copied from the shortcode generator.

      [add_eventon_fc cal_id=”4″ show_et_ft_img=”yes” grid_ux=”2″ jumper=”yes” heat=”yes” mo1st=”yes” hover=”numname” ]

      [add_eventon_el number_of_months=”7″ event_count=”20″ sep_month=”yes” hide_mult_occur=”yes” show_et_ft_img=”yes” ]

There must be some incompatibility with these two codes or something.  Please help!

interesting this is working for me http://hopepoint.org/daves-eventon-test/

      [add_eventon_el number_of_months=”3″ sep_month=”yes” ]

So play around with the shortcode variables you are using might have to be one of those that is causing it.

Hi Ashan, It is the hide multiple occurrences that is causing the conflict.  Is there any way this can be remedied or worked around?
