Hi
On the EventCard the numeric day value is not followed by a full stop as required in German, i.e., 13 Feb. instead of 13. Feb. I have activated in the Time Settings the WP default date format, which is set to German. In the Event data entry in the section on Time and Date after the Date and Time values it correctly states: Default Date/time format: “13. Februar 2017 8:00” (note the full stop after 13). However, this full stop does not appear on the EventCard. Thank you for your help.

Is this what you mean? http://www.pfarrei-boesingen.ch/wordpress/events/jassturnier/ you can change the eventcard event time from evneton settings > time settings > front-end time/date settings
See the attached screenshot. The missing fullstop is wrong. It correctly appears below in “1. Dezember 2017”. Changes in settings > time settings > front-end time/date do not affect the large date number, which should also have a fullstop.
Thank you for your messages, I am going to assign this ticket to Ashan and he will be able to take it from here and find you a solution. Please allow some time for him to get back to you, we greatly appreciate your patience and thank you for being a eventon customer!
Sorry Ashan I simply don’t know what file to change in the backend to get that 1 to be 1.
Thanks for looking into the issue. Just noted that my screenshot of course should read at the top “wrong withOUT fullstop”. This is what the output looks like. In what it should look like (below in the screenshot) I added for demonstration a fullstop in Photoshop.
client wants it to look like the screenshot
with a dot .
after the 1
not 1 but 1.
Correct. This is what the German date format looks like.
Ah i see you just wante to change time on eventtop NOT eventcard. Unfortunatelt you can not change this at the moment. But we are adding pluggable filters for it to be able to alter based on need for next version update. So in the mean time please feel free to edit the code.
file :../eventon/includes/eventon-eventTop.php line 44
Cheers!
Many thanks. Would you be so kind to tell me how to adapt line 44?
Greetings, Jürg
Here you go Jurg!
I did so before, but the dot is not on the baseline (hardly visible in mid-height). Best, Jürg
Ah I see, thats not good. If you wanna send me FTP access I can fix this for you
I editted the file class-calendar_generator.php to get that result idk if we can add pluggable filters for this in the future update. Cus as of now, you will lose your edits once updated. But we will try to see what we can do.
If you have a moment, we would greatly appreciate if you could kindly leave us a review at codecanyon! from your account > downloads. Cheers!
Thank you very much Jurg.
