Google Maps plugin visual effect

Hi –

When the events list doesn’t contain any map locations, which occasionally happens on our website, the map continues to show the visual effect that happens when it opens the first time (the circular zooming effect). This effect stays stuck in a loop and is visually very disturbing. Is there a way to disable this?

Can you post the complete shortcode you are using for the map here?

      This is the code:

      [add_eventon_evmap map_type=”upcoming” hide_past=”yes” hide_so=”yes” loc_page=”yes” lightbox=”yes” ux_val=”3″ focusmap=”no” ]

      Doesn’t happen on our end:

      I used the same shortcode

Hi – any idea what I could do in case there are no actual google maps locations set to avoid this from happening?

we can’t do much without admin access to the site- it could be a variety of reasons from other plugins to the theme or a weak server but we don’t know until we get in there.

Thank you, I’ll keep an eye on it and will let you know when it happens. Thank you again.
