Hi. I am using gAppointments for Gravity forms. I want to show bookings to my clients with EventOn. What is the best route to do this?

What is the best way to do this with what EventON is offering?

I am thinking it might be this:
1. Gravity Forms – Zapier – Google Calendar
2. Google Calendar ICS file – EventOn ICS Importer Auto-Schedule Imports.

As far as I know, there are no webhooks, zapier zaps, and Eventon Sync addon seems no longer to be available?

Please give me an advise which road to go – it will save me a lot of time. Regards, Marc.

      G’day thanks for asking

we’d love to see your website so we can understand your current systems

      lets start from the top

You run the website and the clients are consumers or when you say client you are the web developer? and you want your client (the website owner) to view the clients who have appointments

when someone sets an appointment- are they purchasing that appointment or is it for free

      Hi,

The website is: https://www.straightnesstrainingevaluation.com – a sister website of https://www.straightnesstrainingacademy.com.

We have  around 2000 horse riders (clients) that request live coaching sessions on their submitted scripted video’s (touchstones). We have coaches that do live streamed evaluations of the submitted videos. All other members can watch these live reviews during the live streaming. All members pay a monthly fee and have the right to submit videos.

We are building up the service, we have 40 sessions with 160 evaluations a month  and that will double next years.

Each client has to book her video review with a coach, and submit metadata and the video. This we do with Gravity Forms and gAppointment.

Our community needs an event calendar, sort of a TV-guide to see what’s on this week, or this month. Who is being evaluated, which horses, which coaches and which riders. So they can make up their mind when to tune in. For this I am planning to use EventOn. However – the “TV Guide/Event Guide” needs to “filled up” automatically – if possible.

Gravity Forms has a webhook/Zapier output with each submit (request for video evaluation). With this I can easily fill a Google Calendar. gAppoitment can do it as well, but not so elegantly.

So my question is: how to fill Eventon with this data?

I am the owner of the company and I do most of the technical setup stuff myself, coding I delegate to my software engineer.

      Regards, Marc Marsman.

That would require customization of eventon

You can send us a customization job request by creating a new ticket in here and selecting Customization Request as the category.

Marc, been reading this, i also use Eventon in very creative ways. I would think that you can use Zapier to output your schedule to a google sheet, that then can (with or without modification) being imported as a csv with Eventon csv import or automated with wpallimport on a cron schedule.

      Hi,

He has more details, like custom fields for Horses, Riders etc, so having the data on a sheet just like this, would not be enough.

Also, eventON does have an API, so a sheet is not enough

Hi Basilis, i use the sheet as a intermediate with several extra fields, then turn the google sheet into a json-feed that gets imported in the site with wpallimport. Got a few fields defined as custom in eventon.
      Works for me.

And what about for example repeatable fields like schedule? And Speakers?

Thanks pasabon for your creative suggestion! Together with Basilis we will come up with a workable solution. One day I hope a zapier app will be available.

      Hi Marc,

I’m glad that you are willing to work with Basilis to get this done.

The integration with Zapier is on our radar and we hope that this will see its way into the plugin in our future development roadmap.

Feel free to contact us if you have any additional questions. 🙂
