My client wants to use the word Pass or Reservation instead of Ticket for what people are purchasing but don’t see a way to change that.
Jun 20,2019 AT 4:53PM - 5 years ago -Hello,
Please go to EventON > Language > ADDON: EVENT TICKETS to translate the front-end.
Please follow this guide https://docs.myeventon.com/documentations/translating-eventon-backend/ to translate EventON’s back-end.
I have started translation but found that you don’t even have a lang
folder for a number of your add-on plugins and are missing .pot
files even for some of the ones that do have a lang
folder. Can you please explain to me what I’m supposed to do in this situation? And if I’m not missing something, are you plan on fully supporting localization in your plugins?
Example: Ticket Variations & Options has not .pot
extension file, and QR Code plugin doesn’t even have a lang
folder at all.
More info here since my last response. I created and saved an English translation only for Event Tickets so far to override certain fields but I’m not seeing the changes show up yet in the frontend. Then when I try to add a translation for EventON, the main plugin, I’m getting the error:
Template missing
This bundle doesn't define a translations template file.
Loco can sync directly with the source code, but this can be slow if there are many files.
Loco Translate is just an example of translating plugin you can use. Please check this guide on how to use Loco Translate https://localise.biz/wordpress/plugin/beginners#setup
As for “Template missing” please press “Skip” and then follow “6. Add a new language” of https://localise.biz/wordpress/plugin/beginners#setup
If the plugin folder doesn’t contain any language files it means that EventON or the parent add-on already has everything you need to translate this particular add-on.
