Hello, I am looking for a solution to allow a customer to cancel a ticket from the frontend and automatically add the ticket back to inventory without needing an admin to approve a refund.
Is that possible and if so how do I set this up?

Unfortunately, WooCommerce doesn’t allow this. You need, as admin, go to wp-admin > WooCommerce > Orders > Edit > change Status to Refunded or Canceled. Only then can customers repurchase the ticket again.
PS Maybe some kind of plugin can extend WooCommerce to allow this. Unfortunately, I am not aware of such plugin.
You can also send us a customization job request by creating a new ticket in here and selecting Customization Request as the category.
