How do I get to the option to “Manage Capacity & Attendees per Each Repeat Instance of Event”? I see that it’s an option, but I can’t figure out where to get to the following settings pictured on the sales page.

depends on which version of rsvp you have if you have the latest version see screenshot
you create the event and create the number of repeats and click publish
then under Set capacity limit for RSVP
there is an option right under Set capacity limit for RSVP called Manage available capacity separate for each repeating interval of this event and this allows you to change each repeat

I marked this as resolved, but I do have another quick, related question. It appears that this feature is not currently available for action user front-end event submitting. Is that correct? If yes, is that a feature that will be available in the near future?
Thank you for this great suggestion, at the moment it is not supported and we are going to move this ticket into feature request so other users can vote for your excellent feature idea and get this move into development!
I guess as a workaround you could add a custom meta data multi line text box and set to visible to admin only and in that they can type day 1 100 people, day 2 240 people and so on- yep it requires work for you but in general if you have an event that can fit 100 people and you are basically doing the same thing a week later then should it not be 100 people max?

What we’re actually trying to do is allow for RSVP’s on recurring events to remain separate for each individual event. Example: If “JohnCustomer” RSVP’s to the second event in a series (with 10 recurrences), I noticed that by default he’s RSVP’d to all 10 event in the series.
However, with “Manage Capacity & Attendees per Each Repeat Instance of Event” enabled, it seems to allow for “JohnCustomer” to RSVP to the second event without appearing on events 3-10 (with a quirk where he’s also registered to event one in the series, but we can work around that for now). So, technically, we don’t need to set a different max for attendance, but we do want to be able to track/log it separately.
The workaround solution we’re probably going to go with is to have user-submitted events default to “draft” and, if they’re set up as a recurring event, an admin can enable the “Manage Capacity & Attendees per Each Repeat Instance of Event” feature before it’s published.
