Hello, I submitted this ticket back in early January but I have heard NOTHING. I am resubmitting now under General (before it was Feature). I have sent 5 messages relating to the original ticket and no-one replies. PLEASE HELP!!! My client is getting extremely angry. As am I actually. I have spent 100s of dollars with you over the years.

I want to email our existing Mailchimp subscriber list with new events as they are set up (and ideally with a reminder a few days before). I am using the slug https://coledalefinewines.com/future-events/feed/ in Mailchimp but the resulting error says “This feed has not published any items…”
I also purchased the Subscriber addon, but the I would like the template to look exactly the same as the other email templates sent out through Mailchimp, and I do not know how to code php, only html and css. There must be a way to use the RSS funtionality to link in with Mailchimp. The subscriber addon isn’t really working for us, as we have subscriber forms on the site anyway. I just desperately need to inform our client base of the events.
PLEASE help! And please don’t hand this over to Mailchimp support, as I did purchase the RSS feed addon for exactly this purpose, and in Mailchimp it works fine with ‘standard’ posts, just not EventOn posts.

You can customize Subscriber’s New Event email templates by by copying eventon-subscriber/templates/email_new_event.php to * ../wp-content/themes/yourtheme/eventon/subscriber/. Unfortunately, we unable to help with customizations. You can send us a customization job request by creating a new ticket in here and selecting Customization Request as the category.
There must be a way to use the RSS funtionality to link in with Mailchimp.
