want to be able to let the customer know if the classes in this case will be able to be repeating as they are currently using the eventon calendar for their events but they also teach classes and wish to have a booking feature BUT all the different classes are the same days generally each week they are currently using a online store but it would be great to control how many spots are open for classes and have a booking mechanism for the classes over using an online store.

Thank you for your great suggestion, at the moment it is not supported. However please create a new ticket and select Feature Request as category so others can vote on your idea and get it moved into development faster. OR You can send us a customization job request by creating a new ticket in here and selecting Customization Request as the category.
I am referring to this page at the bottom https://www.myeventon.com/addons/bookings/ I was not asking for custom coding but if it could be created I would assume you would have it as part of the add on as many businesses very commonly have repeating classes, events, ect.

Disclosure: Bookings addon is compatible with Tickets and QR Code addon. Booking addon is also compatible with Variations & Options addon. However booking addon is not compatible with repeating events at this moment.
When you enable Repeating Event, Bookings is not available anymore. You cannot enable it, add new blocks and use it’s functionality at all.
yes as it says not at this moment thats why I was asking when or if it will work that way in the future. Also IS there a way to accept square as an online payment because the client uses square for gift cards and is asking me about that possibility.

ok I have 2 last questions I believe: The woocomerce component is just basically a store mechanism that allows the eventon subscriptions to work?
So the square payments component you mentioned will just be part of woocommerce checkout pages and the client wont need to be working directly with woocomerce per say and will just be using eventon back end to create events that can be signed up for correct?

Yes and yes. When using EventON’s Tickets add-on users don’t have any access to ticket products in WooCommerce’s Shop since they are always hidden. So they buy a ticket in EventON’s events and then are redirected to Cart or Checkout pages.
sorry by user i meant the site owner, doesnt need to interact with woocomerce just eventon? She is not savvy at all but she uses the eventon calendar with no issues and I will create anopther calendar for the training classes.
Not sure about Square. I think all you need to do is to install it and it should work without having to interact with it.
About WooCommerce. If you install and configure it once it should work completely fine. All your site owner need to do is to create events and enabled tickets on Edit Event page.
ok so I have gone through the steps of creating an event with a ticket BUT the event does not show any way to go to ticket purchase just the event itself Dec 3rd on this calendar https://www.americank9country.com/reg/ I followed your how to guide it is missing a complete section goes from adding the pricing to adding options without just the basics. I can see the product/class(event) in woocommerce also I didnt realize that you can only show a single day and the event cant be a 6 week class, I get the not repeating events but I am unsire of how useful this is for anyone if they cant book a 3 day stay or a class that is 6 weeks long in this case.

Could you try going to EventON Settings > EventCard Data > make sure that EVENT TICKET BOX is enabled > save Settings (even if you didn’t change anything)?

That fixed the issue with the add to cart not showing on the event day/event card. So the next issue is a multi week event, as I mentioned above as well. This course starts on Dec 3rd and goes for 6 weeks, it is not a repeating event its simply an event that is mondays at that time for 6 weeks

It seems that the only solution is to add them manually. Just create an event that lasts for 6 weeks, enable Tickets, follow https://docs.myeventon.com/documentations/general-user-guide/ and create a block for each Monday.
i believe that makes the event every day? Not every Monday, unless i am missing something
I kind of you mean but not sure how to edit the block that is incorrect now as it looks like i have to delete every time in between, this is not super easy to use

ok I see what you did, the issue is how do you do it, and can you edit the block after fact ? If a mistake is made or an adjustment needed, the blocks screen is where i see the issue and its not very intuitive

So I like the idea of the blocks of time I am creating some screen shots although a bit more difficult to explain my idea or your reason for doing certain things but I think the booking block manager and the time and date setup should be together or at least near each other in the ux design, i will attach them when i am done.

But I did have one issue in the mix there as I was trying to work with the system. I have to be able to train the client on using this so I have to have a very strong grasp of how it works and how to do things thus the many questions . Below is another issue i am seeing. I see the new version of eventon was released, I have updated it, I worked with the project i am working with a bit, I dont know if the items i have mentioned have been worked out but I did notice that I cant see my ticked event on the “event type 2 category” specific calendar for their training classes if i check the slider that says “Exclude from calendar” which states i want it set to yes so it doesnt show on all calendars. Which it does show up on the “event type 1 category” calendar, which is for their general events.
I am still hoping to get the initial issues worked out and this small new one that i noticed prior to feb 1st

Those are mostly customizations and design changes, not a lot of what we have to do from our side

Could you tell us more about the event? If you check https://www.americank9country.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=1484&action=edit it seems that the event itself goes from 2021/08/06 10am to 11am of the same date.
You want to make it go from Aug 6th to Sep 10th, correct? Also you need to repeat Booking Blocks every Monday at 11am.

How do i fix the appearance of the event on the wrong calendar or should I say on a calendar the client doesnt wish to see it on, https://www.americank9country.com/reg/ is the shortcode correct for this and the category2 correct to show properly?
The shortcode on this page https://www.americank9country.com/reg/ contains event_type_2=”49,” which removes all events except assigned to Training Classes Event Type.
And the shortcode https://www.americank9country.com/about-us/news-events/ doesn’t have any Event Types specified. So if you want to “all the classes should appear on this calendar” then you need to remove event_type_2=”49,” and for “but you can see the class scheduled for August 6th on there arena events calendar found here” you need to add event_type_2=”NOT-49,” in order to hide the event on Aug 6th.
event_type_2=”NOT-49,” that helped remove it from the arena events calendar so thats all I needed for that.

OK the client started working with the ticketed events. https://www.americank9country.com/reg/ on this event calendar on March 2nd there is a class that is a scheduled time block and it is not showing up? She immediately contacted me about this but I have been busy working on a couple other projects and finally can sit down and work on it.

She wants to put all the times and dates for that particular type of class in one place for ease of adding ticketed events for a particular type of class, I can see the class in the booking block of March 1st but it doesnt show the class on the calendar on March 2nd, meaning a completely different class times and days but the exact same class type “puppy kindergarten” in this case

Ok yes that worked for “basic pet” BUT now look at Puppy Kindergarten I have a class on March 8th and March 25th, when i put the span of time in it puts the class on every day.
Note: I am trying to make it as easy and fast for my client to add and edit classes as possible thus why i have been so very thorough with this whole project

You need to make Puppy Kindergarten a repeating event. This way you can add multiple dates: 8th and 25th. Please make sure that Event Start and End dates are the dates of the first repeat.

I thought that I was specifically told that ticketed events could not be repeating, I had an entire ticket devoted to that i had thought or it came up several times in this ticket, Basilis can you chime in on this as well. I would love the repeating ticketed events to work i bet it would be super easy to add events that are the same name and activity in this case class and just have them repeat through out the year.If this is possible i am happy to hear, and if so what did you mean by this exactly “…Please make sure that Event Start and End dates are the dates of the first repeat.”

On another note what are the different ways the client could show the classes in a list format by the class type for example Basic Pet then the classes for that month or some a given amount of classes for that type, then the same for each of the 10 or so types of classes?
