Import CSV file of events keeps importing into the other event tool and does not display in your Event Plugin.

We have successfully imported the events but even when the other event tool “the event calendar” is deactivated it still imports the events into that plugin and does not display in your short codes. Please let me know what we are doing wrong to get the events to display rather then manually reentering them.

      Hello,

Unfortunately, we are unable to provide support for issues caused by their-party themes or plugins. As they are not our products, we are unaware of how they have been programmed or how it is supposed to work. As such, we recommend you to contact the plugin developer and ask them for their assistance in solving the problem. Let us know if you need help with anything else.

You can also turn off other events plugin, import csv and then turn it on again.

Hello, I do not believe you read the post completely. I have deactivated the plugin and tried the import and it still did not do what it was suppose to do to my understand. You CSV importer should I would guess import the events into your plugin and that is not what happens.

Ok thank you. We will let you know. Thank you. We are working on it offline now instead of the live site over at. That way we can element any issues with themes or other 3rd party plugins.

Are these things that can not be mapped and imported with the csv import tool?

Or do we need manually add:

      1. Location
      2. Organizer
      3. Event Color
      4. Tag

Currently we have to export from “the event calendar” via the export tool from wordpress to export events and it only does XML and then we convert and map to csv file for your importer to the eventon plugin. Yet we can not figure out those other fields. Also do you know of a simpler method to get the info out of The event Calendar to your importer?

Please go to EventON > CSV Importer > **CSV file guidelines > Location Fields, Organizer Fields, color. You can add Tag by following https://docs.myeventon.com/documentations/import-additional-fields-using-hooks/.

Also do you know of a simpler method to get the info out of The event Calendar to your importer?

      Unfortunately, no.
