I have purchased ics import addon.
However, it’s giving me the following error when I add the calendar URL:
Warning: include_once(includes/admin/settings/class-settings.php) [function.include-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /var/www/heartfulnessmeditation.dk/public_html/wp-content/plugins/eventON/includes/class-eventon.php on line 351
Warning: include_once() [function.include]: Failed opening ‘includes/admin/settings/class-settings.php’ for inclusion (include_path=’.’) in /var/www/heartfulnessmeditation.dk/public_html/wp-content/plugins/eventON/includes/class-eventon.php on line 351
Please help.
Sep 15,2022 AT 2:21AM - 2 years ago -Hello,
Thank you for pointing this out. Here is the patch fix to resolve this.
Thank you for the solution. It gave syntax error with ‘│’, so I tried it without and there are no errors now.
However, the events are not displaying on the website.
Are there any other setting that I need to check?
Please send us wp-admin access to your site as a private message for us to further assist your situation.
I am sorry, the access information you have provided did not work for us. Please check them and post the correct login information as a private message, thank you!
Your link in “ICS File URL – ONLY If you are using ICS file from external source” isn’t correct:
https://heartfulnessmeditation.dk/wp-admin/admin.php?page=evoics
Please follow “Get your calendar (view only)”:
https://support.google.com/calendar/answer/37648?hl=en#zippy=%2Cget-your-calendar-view-only
Thanks for the help. It’s importing now.
But how do I do the style customizations?
But how do I do the style customizations?
Could you elaborate? Styling options are available by going to EventON > Appearance. If you don’t see any change, EventON > Scripts & Styling > turn off Write dynamic styles to header > save settings > turn on Write dynamic styles to header.
I have so far been using the settings under appearance to create a specific look for the calendar. I also have a list of ‘organizers’, ‘locations’, ‘event categories’ etc. How do I replicate this for the imported events from google calendar?
Also, in case I have to schedule a new event, I normally go to an existing old event and add a new date, as rest of the parameters remain same. How do I accomplish this with google calendar?
Lastly, about the picture. How can I import a picture for the event via google calendar?
Please take a look at these acceptable ICS file fields:
UID – Unique ID for the event
DTSTART – Timestamp of event start date and time
DTEND – Timestamp of event end date and time
SUMMARY – Event Name
DESCRIPTION – Event description
LOCATION – Event location name or address
If you want to extend it please follow
https://docs.myeventon.com/documentations/add-support-additional-ics-fields/
The main issue is that does Google Calendar support “organizers” and “event categories“? Not really sure.
Maybe you need to use CSV Import instead:
https://www.myeventon.com/addons/csv-event-importer/
Try on https://dev.myeventon.com/wp-admin/
The events added by other users on Google calendar is not being updated on the wesbite.
Could you please help?
Hello,
Could you go to https://heartfulnessmeditation.dk/wp-admin/admin.php?page=evoics > make sure that the file in ICS File URL has all the events?
Please also send us a screenshot of the added events.
Hi,
Looks like the file URL changed after I shared the calendar. I have now saved the correct URL and tried importing again.
But the events are still not imported. A weekly event was added. You can see the screenshot below.
The URL is incorrect:
https://calendar.google.com/calendar/embed?src=c_eh0itd2emosu9pftn8aguekt44%40group.calendar.google.com&ctz=Europe%2FBerlin
You need .ics link:
https://support.google.com/calendar/answer/37648?hl=en > Get your calendar (view only).
I have now added the correct URL as per your instructions.
The events are still not importing. Not sure why.

Which event are you referring to? They both are there, I think:
