I bought the plugin years ago when I had no knowledge about WordPress and found it complicated to use.
Now it´s different, so my question is:
Is there a way to import all the SEO-Data from “The Events Calendar” to “EventOn”?
Thank you in advance
Asterios
Hello,
EventON outputs the info about events as Schema Data (https://developers.google.com/search/docs/guides/intro-structured-data) and JSON-LD data. So all you need to do is to make sure that each event has Tile, Dates, Description, Location and Image (if applicable).
If The Events Calendar lets you to export the data as .csv file then you can use CSV Importer https://www.myeventon.com/addons/csv-event-importer/. Try on http://dev.myeventon.com/wp-admin/ to make sure that the .csv file format is correct.
Hello Artem,
thank you for the fast reply and the suggestion.
I will try as you said and see what happens.
Could you please leave this thread open for a few days?
I will then let you know as soon as I have some results.
Best

Hello Asterios,
When you reply here the thread will automatically open. Let us know how it goes.
Hello Kenneth,
I tried it as Artem suggested but I didn´t have any success. Unfortunately all fields were empty (see screenshot).
Besides that, as I read in the instructions of how to build the .csv, the SEO-Data are not supported. Is it like this or did I misunderstood it?

Could you send us your .csv file?
File number 2
Hi Asterios,
We are not able to see the files you sent. Please upload the files somewhere else like dropbox and then send us the link to access them.
Hi,
There is an option to match the fields but will require a lot of advanced fields matching eventually.
You can send us a customization job request by creating a new ticket in here and selecting Customization Request as the category.
It seems that your dates have incorrect format:
event_start_date & event_end_date – Start/End date in format mm/dd/YYYY
event_start_time & event_end_time – Start/End time in format h:mm:AM/PM
Also .csv file Column Headers don’t seem to be correct either.
Please go to EventON Settings > CSV Import > check **CSV file guidelines.
Hi Asterios,
If you have any other questions please do not hesitate to reach out again.
Cheers!
