In the Speakers list from the List addons, can we add the position and company under the speaker name?

Hello,

We are building a new event website, on which we want to display the Seakers:

We need to show the title and company under the name.

How can we add it?

  if you go into events>>>>event speakers- edit the speakers you want
  
  you need to add that to the description of the speaker
  
  anything you add to the desciption will appear under the name

  Actually, this is not a good solution for us: in the speaker pop-up, we don’t want to see the information duplicated. And we don’t want the description to appear under a title ‘description’.
  
  In the List addon, we need to have the position and company to come. If you cannot change that (it should be possible to configure what fields to bring), please inform about the file concerned and where to modify, we will do it ourselves.
  
  Also, there is another issue: the List addon doesn’t take the Speakers from the Scheddule addon. We have to assign the speakers 2 times: one time to the session, 1 time again to the sub sessions. Can you adapt to make it take automatically the speakers from the Scheddule addons?

  Please go to /wp-content/plugins/eventon-speakers-schedule/templates and find taxonomy-event_speaker.php. You can to customize this archive page template by overriding this template by coping it to ../yourtheme/eventon/ folder.

  Could you elaborate more? When you select “Category Type: Event Speakers” it doesn’t get all speakers?

  Speakers customization. Please edit lb-event_speaker.php file instead. Override this template by coping it to ../yourtheme/eventon/templates/ folder.

  What i mean is that putting the Speaker in the Schedduled event only doesn’t make the speaker come in the Speakers shortcode.
  
  We have to also add all the speakers in the main event, which is annoying when we have a lot (the popup shrinks and we cannot add all speakers unless we modify the div container in css….). It is hard to proceed like this. We managed because we have a developer with us now, but later it will be complicated for us.
  
  It would be logical to bring the speakers from the Schedduled events automatically. No ?

  There are no templates to customize in the plugin : /wp-content/plugins/eventon-lists-items/templates/.
  
  This is where we need to have the position and company under the speaker name. The file seems to be this one: plugins/eventon-lists-items/includes/class-frontend.php, but it cannot be overriden…
  
  Here you are talking of the Speakers Scheddule plugin : /wp-content/plugins/eventon-speakers-schedule/templates

  As for your original question. The list of “Event Lists & Items” cannot be customized without code changes.

  => Not at all, we are talking about the speakers list. If we need to customize it, there is no template available to do it. We can just modify your module core files, which is not overriding. It is not proper.

  I am sorry about the miscommunication. If you send us a feature request and explain what additional functionality you need, there is a high chance we are going to add it in the next version.
