Incorrect display in event filter of titles with special characters
In the event filters the names that have the character or etc … are truncated and the rest of the title is no longer seen.
This only happens in the filter because in the event list all the titles are correct!

Hi!
you can go to this link: https://www.associazionesaras.it/calendario-incontri/Click on the funnel icon and select the word “argomento”
A drop-down menu will expand with the whole list of topics used in the events.
All sentences that have words with an accented character or a <‘> or a special character are truncated at the point where the character is!
For example: “realtà” becomes “realta” or “Aura la radianza dell’essere” becomes “Aura la radianza dell”

Hi Rossano,
Thanks for the additional details.
I’m afraid that I cannot replicate the problem on our servers. The filter dropdown modal displays all accented characters as expected as shown on the attached image.
The problem might suggest that this could be related to your database encoding. Would you mind reaching out to your host and checking if this is something that they can resolve on their end?

Hello,
I spoke to my host provider and he assured me that the dabase is fine. The encoding is utf-8 and shouldn’t have any problems with special characters.Could it depend on the short code generated to see the appointments?
I generated this:

no it can not be the generation of the shortcode, because shortcode is global for everyone and noone does have issues with it.

Hello,
Could you update EventON to 3.0.6 and check once?
To update eventon to latest version: If you are unable to do autoupdate, you can go to codecanyon your account > download and get the latest eventon version as zip file. Then you can go to your website, deactivate old eventon, activate (Do not delete eventon settings & data when EventON is uninstalled) from eventon settings, delete old eventon, install new one and activate. This link will further explain the process it. Also you can follow us on twitter to get real-time announcements on updates!
