When using tiles view, thumbnail generated for the background tiles are too pixalated and low res. I need to increase quality and resolution on those. (not talking about popup/modal images).
Mar 28,2017 AT 1:48AM - 3 years ago -The thumbnails are smaller than the space they are trying to cover. So, they are getting stretched which is causing it to pixelate.

Upload bigger images.
The images are actually quite big, just open one event. Uploading bigger images doesn’t solve nothing. What I need is to generate bigger thumbnails.
That link only shows that i’m right. Your plugin generates or takes small thumbnails. So please, give me a real solution.
At least tell me where is the code on your plugin that generates the tiles so I can change the thumbnails size manually.
so its pulling 300×168 type images. which is long images and the tile stretches images like ashish said. So try to upload images that are more square like and not narrow. So that tiles would not have to stretch image to fit entire tile area.
Again, that doesn’t solve nothing. Ok, I upload square images, everything is fine and then I let people to create their own events with their own images. Now what? I can’t control what people upload or the image ratio. I’m just asking how to increase the generetated thumbnail, nothing else.
So please if your’re so kind to give me a proper solution.
Thanks
My friend please dont get upset, we are doing out best to understand your situation and provide a solution for it.
In the above image show from wordpress settings > media you can change default sizes of the thumbnail generated. Hopefully that will work. And I understand there is not much control over what image a user uploads.
I’ll try, hope this works.
sure, and just wanted to let you know this will only effect future images and not the ones already submitted 🙂
I used a plugin to regenerate thumbnails and works by now.
