Ticket #28632 Public

Language not showing in admin panel

bought EventOn today and noticed some errors. Besides that I can’t save an event date I also noticed that I can’t translate the language in admin panel. On the screenshots in demo site it looks like there are all the language variables and I can translate them directly in myEventsOn admin settings. But on my end there’s nothing to see.

Installation was quite fine, no errors reported.

Hi just tried to change my PHP version ob the server from 7.1.1 back to 5.6.30 and now it seems the problems are fixed.

Is it possible php 7.1.1 caused the trouble?

I think it is the first time anyone has had this issue.

But I will alert Ashan, our admin, and he will definitely check it.

If changing PHP solved the problem then yes sounds like it was the issue. Make sure you are running eventon 2.5.1 If you are running latest eventon you can update to PHP 7.1 and run debug on PHP using this http://www.myeventon.com/documentation/how-to-debug-for-php-code-errors/

to see what issues are happening in your site and you can send us the debug.log file and we can help you resolve those issues.

Cheers! and glad your site is working on saving languages now!
