I have some complex and mostly static webpages that I would like to cache.
The page also contains an EvenON calendar showing featured events via [add_eventon_list …].
I read about lazy loading via AJAX, however it doesn’t seem to work by default. Is there a way I can enable this for Event Lists? Or which types are supported for this?

That’s not what I see. I use the following short-code:
[add_eventon_list]
My version is EventON 3.1, without any changes to the source code. Also I checked the settings and I didn’t see anyway to disable this globally.
Here is what I see:
Can you tell me how I enable the Ajax loading of the event data? If I cache the website like this it won’t work.
Thank you for your messages, I am going to assign this ticket to Ashan and he will be able to take it from here and find you a solution. Please allow some time for him to get back to you, we greatly appreciate your patience and thank you for being a eventon customer! Also please disable any IP blocking on your site if there are any.
Hello Christian, the ajax on init only runs for main calendar add_eventon and fullcal, dailyview, weeeklyview. The list use legacy loading at the moment and we are hoping to convert that in the future. We are also going to add an option to disable init cal data loading via ajax if a calendar is not available in the page. More on this in version 3.1.1 🙂
Thank you Ashan. Both would be very useful indeed. Looking forward to the next release 🙂
