If I have a repeat event, when I open the repeat customizer, is there a way to mark the initial occurrence as complete? I can mark others as complete, but not the initial event. The only way I can get the initial event “crossed out” on the calendar is to make the entire event as complete, but then the recurrences are marked complete as well.

That is how the system works right now.
You can send us a customization job request by creating a new ticket in here and selecting Customization Request as the category.
