Because there are conflicts between the plugin and my theme, I have decided to do a separate installation to run Eventon.
That is why I ask you for help to migrate the more than 1,000 events that we have created over time, since we bought this plugin.
Thank you very much for your help.Mar 1,2017 AT 4:16PM - 3 years ago -
1000 events ok
I am going to assign this ticket to Ashan and he will be able to take it from here and find you a solution. Please allow some time for him to get back to you, we greatly appreciate your patience and thank you for being a eventon customer!
Thank you very much for the reply.
It is very important to be able to migrate the contents created with Eventon.
Also, once this is achieved, I guess I can disable the plugin in my current installation and then activate the same license in the new installation. True?
As far as license yes that is correct.
Hmm lets see whats the best way here. You gonna wanna export event posts, post meta and taxonomies and taxonomy data. We have never had the need for such situation.
Just looked at your site. since you only have actionuser addon I would suggest exporting events as CSV file from eventon settings and using our CSV importer addon to import them back into another website.
With CSV EVENT IMPORTER I could export all events, including featured images, and then import them into the new installation?
Yes it would export the image URL and all the events in your site.
You can see how the exported CSV look in eventon settings
And then the importer will fetch all the events along with images. And the images will be imported. You can also do is upload the image into your site and then use the attachement ID from wordpress and use that ID so the same image will not be uploaded multiple times into site.
