is it possible for event creators / hosts, to select a second host for their event?
If not directly, is there any workaround for this?
No sorry theres no way to do that from the front end submit/edit options
however- we are working on a teams option but no ETA on that as its on the list but not a priority as yet.
The only thing I can think of is a manual way of doing it

so setting up the additional field- for the event manager to tell you who else should be on the list
and then manually assigning them that event
