while selling courses and event tickets (with the add-on) I need a waiting list or wish list function for an event that would only made available if I have a number of attendees that at interested in that course...
I would like to have that event (without any date) listed in my event list - but not for prepayment - just for registration (f.e. with email and number of seats) - so that I can get back to the customer if my waiting list is full and I can then announce the event date.
is there any function or addon that would do that?
Sure - I could put a button on a sidebar next to the event list to send the email address to a waiting list - but I would like to have it integrated in the event list - so that the visitors see that there is that special course - but then must register for a waiting list first and when the minimum amount of seats (f.e. 10) is reached - then I would make that course for a tbd date available...
Is there a simple solution to this?

Unfortunately, only RSVP add-on has a waiting list:
. This option is not available for Event Tickets, I am afraid.
However please create a new ticket and select Feature Request as category so others can vote to get it moved into development faster. OR You can send us a customization job request by creating a new ticket in here and selecting Customization Request as the category.
