I processed one ticket order to myself. I’m not receiving email with ticket and qr code.
Jan 23,2017 AT 12:28PM - 3 years ago -I also hit re-send ticket. I checked spam folder as well. nothing.
Thank you for your messages, I am going to assign this ticket to Ashan and he will be able to take it from here and find you a solution. Please allow some time for him to get back to you, we greatly appreciate your patience and thank you for being a eventon customer!
Thank you. I look forward to hearing from someone soon.
Jimmy
Will they respond here?
ok can you pelase try this https://wordpress.org/plugins/check-email/that plugin allow you to test to make sure emails can be sent from your server.
I installed plugin and ran test. I received email. It works.
Ok thats good
Can you please send us FTP access to your site as a private message, so we can perform several tests from our end and resolve your issue fast!
it’s weird because I get the confirmation emails about the order from woocommerce. just nothing from the eventon side.
Do you have a cache plugin in your site? i updated the file but the code changes are not reflecting on your site?
No caching plugin installed. I just updated the Theme and all plugins. I also removed any un-used plugins. there should be no memory issues as I have tested simple changes to see if it’s updating live site.
ok i will give this another try, I changed PHP code and none of the changes I made were appearing in the frontend.
Just wanted to update you the links in the email body is stopping emails going through for some reason that is beyond my brain.. but let us dig into this and see whats goin on.
Ok dude, found the issue. As soon as a link in the email body contain /wp-admin/ or /wp-content/ that email doesnt go through. I am not sure if this is a plugin or something in your site that is blocking this.
But I have removed all those types of links from the email only thing really effected is add to calendar button which now link direct to event instead of actually adding the event to calendar.
I will have to find a solution for this but for now you should be able to send emails.
Ok, thank you. Let me know if you find an alternative solution. If I update eventOn I will lose your updates you made?
I’m still receiving the email….
oops. I mean I’m still NOT receiving the email with ticket and qr code. I thought you said you found temporary solution?
Did you test it because I’m not getting emails with ticket still?
probably need to clear your cache i just placed an order and got the emails just fine
Cheers mate!
uggh… I cleared my cache and still nothing. I’m getting the order confirmation from woocommerce but not eventon with ticket. i’ve checked spam folder. nothing
oops. i wasn’t completing the order in woocommerce… is there a way to automate that.?
You will need to use third-party plugins like the one below:
