Ticket #31162 Public

Problem with Google Calendar Sync

  • Ok. So purchased your plugin from Envato. Now I see that I don’t have access to add a Google Calendar. Did I read something wrong in your promos? Even when I click on Sync in the dashboard – to add on the function – I get a 404 error. Please advise.

I saw your comment on Envato.

This is concern. The only reason we wanted to use your tool was integration with Google Calendar. Is that option not available?

I am sorry you never got a response for your ticket but its hard to believe this happened because we cleaned up helpdesk.

Please follow up via your ticket and we can help you figure out the google cal issue. And Sync addon was pulled back because of the issues it was causing and we are doing a complete re-work of it.

      oh ok.

So, you will need to use the sync addon for the function. Sync feature does not come with the main plugin by default. I thought you had already added the addon.

Anyway, we are currently doing some rework in the sync addon and so it is not available for download at the moment.

      Sorry for the inconvenience.

Please follow the link below so that you will know immediately when we will re-publish the addon:

Is there a rough ETA – I actually just met with a customer tonight that REALLY wants to bring in their google calendar.

    • By: Ashish Rai Mar 28,2017 AT 10:17PM - Posted 3 years ago - #32548

There is no ETA right now but we are working on it and it will be available as soon as possible.

Meanwhile, let us know if you need help with anything else.

Personally, I’d like to go ahead and process a refund for this since the promoted value of this does not apply to the application. The inability to sync with Google calendars has forced us to make another choice. Can you advise on that?

We have not mentioned syncing as part of the main eventon plugin.

Can you tell us where you saw that? The sync addon does that, however, it is not available for download at the moment.
